Emma leads phantom of the opera at the barbican March 18th 2019

The second performance of Roy Budd's lush and full-bodied score to the silent black and white film, Phantom of the Opera, was at the Barbican on Monday 18th March. Emma was leading the Docklands Sinfonia for this performance. There was much excitement in the lead up to the show, as Emma and the Docklands Sinfonia had premiered Budd's symphonic score at ENO Coliseum 17 months previously.
